English Worksheets to Wish You Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays to you!

To celebrate, I’m offering you some English worksheets to help you start the year by improving your English!

I know you’re probably at home, with family and friends.
It’s so nice to spend time with the people you love during the holidays and share good things with them.

In fact, you can share my videos with your friends and family!
Maybe they want to learn English too!

During the holidays, in the USA, we give gifts to people we like. And I like you, so…

Christmas presents: English worksheets

First, the presents. In English, we say “gifts”, and also “presents.”

It’s the same thing. To celebrate the holidays I have some presents for you.

Click here to get your Christmas present from me 🙂

What’s the present?
A pack of 5 Speak English Cheat Sheets. A “cheat sheet”, is a document to help you learn something quickly. English cheat sheets are great for boosting your vocabulary, for example!

If you click here, you’ll get cheat sheets on:

  • how to sound polite with your intonation
  • my 15 favorite faux amis
  • top 10 phrasal verbs
  • expressions to manage your  meetings in English
  • tips for making those terrible conf calls easier
  • the top 8 irregular verbs that you must master in English

In English, we say we put presents under the tree at Christmas.

I don’t have a virtual Christmas tree to put your presents under, but that’s ok.

You can still get your English worksheets here.

And the feelings are festive, all the same!

A few expressions with make and do

I know that you’re always asking for expressions with the verbs “make” and “do”, so here’s one for the holidays: to make a New Year’s resolution.

A lot of people make a New Year’s resolution to go to the gym, to eat healthier, maybe to be more regular with improving their English.

This year, my New Year’s resolution is to spend at least 20 minutes reading in the morning, and 20 minutes reading before I go to bed. I really like reading, and I want to make time for it. Regularly.

Do you have any books that you suggest I read in 2017?
You can tell me about them in the comments!

What about you? What is your New Year’s resolution?

They say you have a better chance to keep your resolution if you tell others about it. So tell us!
It’ll be like a Speak English New Year’s party, where we all talk about our New Year’s resolutions.
I wish you all the best for the end of 2016 and a fantastic start to 2017!

Warmest wishes,
Christina

P.S. If you want to make English part of your New Year’s Resolutions, I have different training programs that will help you become fluent faster. You can click here to see the programs.
