Thank you Christina. This is so useful and I like to tell you that when I was just a little girl learning English the only thing we have to practice in Argentina was listening to English songs all day long. How useful this lesson would have been then. I´m so grateful and I´m going to practice a lot with this list (or I should say “I gonna practice” a lot).

Hi Boris, Good suggestion for the homophones! I’ll make a video about them! As for your question, my recommendation for being better in what specifically? It’s very hard to give general advice other than the things you probably already know, like practice often, don’t be afraid of mistakes, expose yourself to as much English as possible, etc.
But if you tell me something specifically you want to be better at, I’ll be happy to give you advice!

I _really_ love all the work Christina is giving to us. It’s exactly what I need. Since I’m following the you tube channel I’ve made a lot of progress and forget my old shiny reflexes.
I’m now ok again with answering phone calls, even if they come from London.
I respond to international jobs proposal again.
Actually, I’m really feeling easy with english language and I ‘m quiet sure to continue with the “small talks “courses or specific coaching.

Congratulations on getting the courage to answer the phone in English. That’s such a big challenge, and I often hear students say “I’m afraid to answer the phone when I see it’s a foreign number” or (my favorite) “When I see that it’s a foreign caller, I run to the toilets!” Haha!!

I’m very impressing the way you are teachings.and i wanna to tell you today first time i saw your vedio and i feel i can speak better like as American accent. My pronunciation is not good. For pronunciation, it really is important to focus on the position of your mouth. The position of your mouth determines the sounds that your mouth produces. Hi Cristina, you have depicted a scene of myself. Frustration, shame, and inner sensation that learning English is not for me. As you said, I am like people that can read english texts fast and can also write and express my ideas in English but something happens with my brain (I sometimes think of it ) that I can not understand Americans, and pronunciation is too hard for me., Most of the time known words disappear from my mind when I try to remember them in a conversation, and many times a say words that have nothing to do with the topic I am trying to say. So I have great expectations with your teaching method and I’ll follow all of your instructions because my goal is to speak English fluently and with a reduced accent.
