I always say “together, we’re stronger”.
While I know that I’ve helped a lot of you get better* in English (because I get so many nice comments and emails), a lot of you have also helped me improve too.
This is one of the many reasons why I love my work. We all lift each other up, and this shows the power of community!
So today, I want to share some of the ways students in the community have helped Speak English with Christina grow.
I could share so many ways with you, but today, I’ll tell the story of one program: the Faster Fluency Conversation Club.
Why?
It has existed for 2 years, but it’s very different today than it was when it started. And many of the changes are thanks to suggestions from Club members!
So first of all, I want to thank those of you who have helped me grow over the years.
And I want to share with you how some of your fellow community members help make this community, and my programs better for all of us!
Is it a perfect program? No, but I still listen to, and (when possible) implement suggestions from members. Step by step it has improved. And it continues to improve, thanks to help from others.
…not so different from you and me, in fact!
What about you?
What’s something valuable that you have learned thanks to Speak English with Christina?
Whether you’re in an online course, coaching program, or just learning with the free resources, share what you’ve learned in the comments!
I can’t wait to read what you have to say!
Have a good week,
Christina

Hi, Christina.
It’s my pleasure to listen to your short videos on different topics. I have learned how to practice English without a partnner. Then I took part in some of your zoom sessions and some people asked to add them to my Facebook friends. And I talked to them and sent messages which was also good for practicing as I had to learn new words and expressions. Now I can say I am much better and more confident in speaking. I think your short courses can be useful as they cover different topics and have a system in learning.
Hi. My name is Cláudio, I’m from Brazil and I’ve been watching some of your vídeos on YouTube and it’s been very useful in order to get knowledge , to learn about specific topics, improve the listening skills and much more. I would like to Thank You for sharing the lessons , spending the time and resources in order to lead us in our fluency journey. I agree with you about the dificulty of finding a partner to speak with, probably this is a common problem for every student so a program like FFCC can be strongly helpfull. I’ve never taken part in the program for some reasons like the frame time, the price ( actually the diference betwen euro and real , the brazilian money) however I took part in some conversations during the quarantine week on zoom , and it was cool. But I would like to suggest you , maybe to set apart some students in level groups, I remenber listen to some good students , with a good English clear pronunciation, and some of them I didn’t understand at all. I know that’s the purpose of the program to become familiar with diferent accents but perhaps it can discourage some of them who are in a diferent level or those who have dificulties to understand like me. I used to have class on Cambly talking to teachers from USA and, Canada mostly, and I felt confortable and confident in those classes because the teachers could correct me and helped me when I made mistakes helping me to reformulate a sentence, it could have been impossible if they weren’t teachers , I’m talking about this cause I’ve already tried to find students on the internet to practice with , and some of these experiences were frustrating , or they were to advanced or beginners . So the presence of a teacher at the class is indispensable in my opinion. Well, after all I wanna tell you, that you’re doing an excellent job , we can see that by the amount of members in your community and the coments of the students, I’ve met a girl who takes part in FFCC and She’s happy with the course , so that’s it. Maybe in the future we can work together building my fluency. Alright, have a good one, see you around!
I wanna learn from your free resources cause still I have some financial issue. Due to lockdown in India I just stay at home from last a few months so no job no money.
