Become Good at Business English in 2 Minutes a Day

You want to become good at Business English.  Confident.
And last time, I shared with you the secret to doing that: good Business English habits!

The problem is, you don’t know how to start those good habits.
And maybe you’re wondering if it’s hard work!

But I have some good news for you.

You only need two things to start a new habit so you can improve your Business English:

    • the right environment,
    • 2 minutes per day

Today, I’ll show you what I mean.

Relax. It’s easy AND effective.

You’ll be able to start your new English habit today.

Index:

1. Better Business English Step One: Intention implementation.

2. Better Business English Step Two: Create an environment where it’s easy to achieve your intention.

3. Better Business English Step 3: Remember the two-minute rule.

1. Better Business English Step One: Intention implementation

What is intention implementation?

It’s simple:

You plan–in advance–to do something.

But, it’s also very specific.

For example, you would tell yourself (or write):

    • I will (ACTION) at (TIME) at (PLACE).
    • I will read 1 page of a book in English at breakfast, at the kitchen table.

Why should you try it?

Hundreds of studies show that implementation intentions help you do your new habit–again and again!

2. Better Business English Step Two: Create an environment where it’s easy to achieve your intention.

What do I mean by creating the right environment?

Let’s use the example from step 1:
Do you want to be absolutely sure you will read 1 page of your book at breakfast?

Then put the book on your breakfast table.
Put a bookmark on the page you want to read.

The idea is to do some quick preparation. That way it’s super easy to do your intention when it’s time.

The book is already on your breakfast table when you sit down for breakfast.

All you have to do is pick it up and read.

3. Better Business English Step 3: Remember the two-minute rule.

If you want to feel more confident in Business English, you need to build good, new habits.
And if you want to build strong habits…

You need to start small.

Start with something you are sure you can do.
Find something that seems almost too easy.
That’s where you should start.

In the beginning, find something that takes no more than two minutes.
Maybe you can’t read a page in two minutes.
So you plan to read a paragraph instead.

Start small and you will succeed.
You’ll tell yourself “YES! I did it!”

And that small celebration is essential.
It’s what helps your habit stay strong.

Will reading one sentence or one page transform your English level?
No.

But learn to be regular and consistent in your English practice and English habits.
Day after day, you will do one small thing to help you improve.
And that will change everything.

Most English programs focus on the wrong thing.
They might focus on a level, like B1/B2..

But there’s a better way to improve your Business English.
And I’m passionate about sharing that with people who want to do something different–something that works.

If you want to be confident in Business English…
If you want your English to help you meet your goals…
Focus on your habits.
And start with two minutes a day.
